I am a Florida homeowners association management and methods with little success and wine (the laws have been searching for information about the wine) is served in the union-sponsored events. Does anyone know a HOA in the state of FL if a liquor license is needed? For example, drama club, a Chartered Club HOA, puts on a fund raising event and serves beer and wine. Owners can "on a HOA sponsored event like a community picnic in your own wine", to bring? A glass of beer a Florida HOA can charge for alcohol at an event / to raise money?
Thanks!
I do not think the HOA is a good idea to serve alcohol at a function Assn. I think there would be liability issues at play. Also, I believe that a liquor license is required when alcohol is being sold. BOD is regulated by the drama club, so, IMO, they directed that no alcohol - can be served must either free or for a fee. Like if they serve alcohol to attend fundraiser can get, then they forget about it should hold! And, no it should not be a BYOB event!
